IBM is repeating the hands-on z/OS PCI (Payment Card Industry) security
compliance workshop in Dallas next month. Details on the previous class in
the archives here:

http://bama.ua.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0806&L=ibm-main&T=0&O=D&F=&S=&P=10690

This particular class is scheduled for August 6 and 7, 2008. (Day 2 ends at
3:30 p.m. to allow time to catch return flights. The classroom is near DFW
Airport.) It's no charge, but you'll need to cover any travel, hotel, and
meals. After reviewing the course description in the archive, if you're
interested in attending please send an e-mail to Sharon Dodd
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) with the subject line "Security Workshop August."
Please include your name, title or role, organization name, and contact
details (e-mail and telephone).

If you're involved in some technically-oriented role dealing with security
compliance (especially to PCI standards, but perhaps also for comparable
areas) and want to learn a lot about z/OS Communications Server security
configuration and management -- including encryption, certificates, etc. --
then this class is likely a good fit.

Obviously time is short and seating is limited to 24, so first come, first
served.
