It's been the same symptom each time: One LPAR has a hold of a user catalog and requests SYSIGGV2. The other LPAR has SYSIGGV2 and is requesting the user catalog. Thus, a deadlock.
According to IBM (so far), it looks to them like MIM isn't requesting these resources in the correct order. CATALOG requests catalog name then SYSIGGV2 and MIM does the opposite. We have GRSRNL=EXCLUDE in IEASYS. Ed - I don't know what you mean by a "build problem." Thanks to everyone for the input so far. Had a contractor put HLQ's for data mover in MCAT. When we tried to go live it'd lock up every 20 minutes.
