Hi Howard, I can't comment on the 2nd set of links in your note but regarding the 1st set of links: you were using an incredibly old URL that has been redirected for years to the current z/OS BookServer. Recently, that redirect has been removed and now the link doesn't work. Update your bookmark to:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/IGYLR205/CCONTENTS If you run into this problem with other links to the old (very old ;-) www.s390.ibm.com server, use the z/OS Internet Library to find the current links: http://www.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/bkserv/ Hope this helps, Leo Howard Brazee <[EMAIL PROTECTED] SYS.EDU> To Sent by: IBM [email protected] Mainframe cc Discussion List <[EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject .EDU> IBM manual web pages 08/05/2008 10:25 AM Please respond to IBM Mainframe Discussion List <[EMAIL PROTECTED] .EDU> All of my links to DFSORT, IBM CoBOL, JCL, & whatever web pages now send me to generic IBM pages. For instance http://www.s390.ibm.com/bookmgr-cgi/bookmgr.cmd/BOOKS/IGYLR205/CCONTENTS gets me to http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/ and http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/storage/support/software/sort/mvs/professor_sort/srtmainf.html gets me to http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/storage/ Is this an attempt to make sure we buy hard copy manuals, or is there some reason for breaking all our links? Are these web pages all gone for good, or are they just hidden so that I need to spend a week finding them and setting them up until next time IBM hides them? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
