Speaking of clocks and computers - I never set a clock nor an alarm to 12:00 unless it is a 24 hour clock.
There is no such time as 12:00 PM nor 12:00 AM. 12:00 M and 12:00 MM are valid, but 12:00 is neither before meridian (noon), nor after meridian (noon).
