I know these forums don't specifically relate to IBM Passport Advantage product licensing - however I thought it important enough to ensure that the message below gets out to those who need to know it. Some time back IBM introduced sub-capacity licensing for a number of off-mainframe products and it mandated the use of a tool to track these licenses. The tool had some problems so IBM withdrew the requirement to use the tool to track sub-capacity licenses (see http://www-306.ibm.com/software/lotus/passportadvantage/tivolilicensemanager.html). As of the 1st of August 2008 the tool is now available and customers have 90 days to get it in and operational to meet sub-capacity eligibility requirements.
