Yes, I remember it was David and Neale who gave the presentation.  David
also talked a tiny bit about the things he liked about VMS.  And now
that it is open source perhaps they will port that, too.

I certainly hope to see more and more choices of operating systems
running on z/VM as time goes by.  Go green!

The primary developer, Neale Ferguson, had also worked on the Bigfoot
port of Linux to S/370 prior to IBM releasing it's patches.  So, he's
been through this more than once.  He has far more brain power (and
tolerance for pain) than I do, that's for certain.
