FYI - for the group, the Shared Spool Mods won't all by themselves route jobs based solely on the names of programs or PROCs to be executed. Since I plan on adding support specifically for that type of feature -
JOB ROUTING (via a SCHENV or SYSAFF or even NJE routing) BASED ON PGM OR PROC NAME without requiring any JCL changes. Can I see a quick show of hands? Who thinks this might be of value other than for the question currently on the table of course? Thanks, Stephen McColley By the way - I wrote the last few versions of the Shared Spool 'MELLON' Mods and still maintain them. > Lizette, > > Try the Shared Spool Mods (formerly known as Mellon Mods) on the CBT > tape: www.cbttape.org > > Bob > > > -----Original Message----- > From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Lizette Koehler > Sent: Friday, October 31, 2008 1:57 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Best way to force jobs to a specific LPAR > > I am looking for a good (and easy) way of ensuring that certain programs > only run on a specific LPAR.
