Apple exploits an existing registry of names by using bigendianized
registered domain names as facility IDs, and apparently encourages
independents to conform:

    com.apple.ActivityMonitor.plist
...
    com.google.GECommonSettings.plist
...
    com.hp.printerutility.plist
...
    com.microsoft.mediaplayer.plist
...
    com.sun.star.comp.deployment.component.PackageRegistryBackend

... etc. (8-character member names aspirate. Even 44 character data
set names.)
