Caveats? I have never used that method before.
I see no problem with downloading to workstation. Just do it, using
Download Director. In fact, I never downloaded ServerPac, only CBPDO and
service, but the packages oftenly exceeded 1GB.
All you need is:
- connection to IBM site (firewalls etc.)
- bandwith ;-)
- disk space on your PC
