I guess slowdown started affecting us...my manager asked me to remove VS
Fortran V2 Compiler/Library from one legacy LPAR so that license cost
can be saved.
Can anyone help me how can we remove this software from mainframe ? How
to go about this ?

Let's be careful about our terminology here.
If you're removing it completely from your mainframe environment, a
Certificate of Destruction is sufficient, provided you live up to it.
If you're removing it only from a single legacy LPAR, you need to get
together with your marketting rep. If it's completely off that CEC, then
you can reduce your costs. But if you're still using it on other LPARs
on that CEC, I don't think there's much you can do. (By CEC, I mean
"footprint"; two physical boxes means two footprints.)
When dealing with licenses, terminology is very important, or legal
repercussions can be very unpleasant.
