We are pleased to announce today the availability of a new product in the Co:Z Toolkit.
Co:Z FTP-SSH Proxy can be used to secure your FTP sessions using an SSH proxy, a technique known as "FTP over SSH (without SFTP)" Features: * Works transparently with the z/OS FTP client or other FTP clients that support SOCKS5 proxies. Existing z/OS FTP jobs and scripts may be used unchanged. * Works transparently with existing FTP servers. No changes are required on the server host if it is already running SSH. * Co:Z FTP-SSH Proxy is 100% pure Java and compatible with Java 1.4 or above. It may be run on z/OS or on other Java platforms and on z/OS it exploits zAAP engines. * Simple to install, configure, and use. * Available free in binary form as part of the Co:Z Toolkit under the Apache V2 license. Source code is also available separately under the GPL V2 license. * Commercial support agreements are available from Dovetailed Technologies.
