The drives get added to the list as soon as allocation selects one, a tape gets mounted and opened. Once you successfully encrypt a tape you should see that drive in the table.

What I have run into is that the software does not seem to select any tape drives. I have drive.acceptUnknownDrives = True coded I have ensured the tape drives, controller and Specialist all say my A00-A0E drives are encryption capable. These are the only encrpytion capable drives (E05) and they are the only drives on the controller. I have had my CE double check (we did an microcode upgrade so we are on the latest version for E05 devices). And yet, when I do an F EKMSERV,APPL='LISTDRIVES' it shows nothing. I cannot seem to determine what might be preventing the acknowledgment of these drives by the EKM software. I think this is my last hurdle in getting to the point of actually encrypting a tape. Any diags, thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. I did upgrade to JAVA 6 with the latest EKM software as well.
