Hi Folks,
I recently tried to gather my knowledge of the four TSO
authorization tables (IKJEFTE2, IKJEFTE8, IKJEFTAP, and IKJEFTNS) and to
put much of this knowledge in one place. So I've written an article
about the subject. Since NaSPA has (hopefully temporarily) stopped
publishing "Technical Support" magazine, I've placed this article in,
what I feel, are several appropriate places on (the Updates Page of)
www.cbttape.org (the CBT Tape collection website), and I'm inviting
everyone who wants, to read the article and comment on the subject
matter. Thanks in advance.
BTW this knowledge was gathered mostly by fiddling around on a
sandbox and experimenting. If anything is wrong, I want to be the first
to know about it, and to correct any problems or mistakes. Please write
to me with your comments. Again, thanks in advance.
The article is entitled "TSO Authorization Tables" and it may be
found in the following three places on the Updates page of www.cbttape.org :
CBT File 120 - as member BM0901JA
CBT File 185 - as member @ARTICLE
CBT File 797 - as member @ARTICLE
I am hoping that people (especially MVS sysprogs) benefit from this
information. There are a lot of little tidbits here and there, that can
help.
All the best of everything to all of you.
Sincerely, Sam
