No hard and fast recommendations here, but you also want to consider:

Proximity to the GRS lock structure (ISGLOCK) - internal links are faster than 
external (caveat:  zero experience with Infiniband)
CF CPU utilization and other structures in the CF LPAR that houses ISGLOCK
Whether DYNDISP is ON or OFF for the CF LPAR housing ISGLOCK

IBM recommends DYNDISP OFF, but we're in sort of a catch-33 with our 
configuration for now...
