John A good way to locate the most recent SNA architecture manuals, including the SNA Formats manual, is to go to the web page of the APPN Implementers Workshop

For the SNA Formats manual, GA27-3136-20, "Twenty-first Edition (March 2004)", you can select "http" for the BookManager "view", directly download the PDF[1], or, it would appear, you can download a bewilderingly large selection of formats if you select "other formats". Another way is to search on the manual number on any IBM web site page which leads you to a very common style of page for accessing manuals such as redbooks.
