I haven't looked, but I would suspect not. This code and logic dates
from OS/MVT days.

I cannot think of any way to eliminate the message short of a SYSTEM
mod.

The message can be suppressed from the console via the MPF processing
facility and in a clist via CONTROL NOMSG. Not sure off the top of my
head about REXX.

Of course, some to the others on this list might have knowledge I lack.

HTH,

<snip>Subject: Eliminate IKJ56862I

I've written a new "Dynamic Allocation Input Validation" exit
(IEFDB401).
In this exit I issue my own message when the allocation request is to be
failed.

Does anyone know if it's possible to eliminate the "IKJ56862I DYNAMIC
ALLOCATION REQUEST NOT PERFORMED, REQUEST DENIED BY INSTALLATION
EXIT" message?
