Howi, We have used Changeman/ZMF for a long time, I think 10 years or more and we have always shutdown the Changman Started Tasks nightly prior to their "nightly maintenance". We actually run multiple copies of Changeman on the same z/OS and all the copies do the same "recycle" nightly. This z/OS image usually IPL's on a monthly basis and we have never encountered an issue with Changeman that required us to IPL.
