Chris, The message that I was given did not have an "A" after it. The site that is having the problem is a place that I contract to. I used to work for them and got laid off in 2000 and have been re-hired as a contractor in 2000 and have been servicing them ever since. I didn't lay the new system down, I just customize the system after it has been brought up. I do the VTAM, CICS, SMP processing as needed, and maintain the products that they sell and have maintenance contracts. Right now. I'm a VM/VSE sysprog. I don't get to work with Z/OS every day and have to rely on my past experience to get by. Thanks for the reply and I appreciate your help. Fred Hoffman
