This has had some discussion on the z/Linux forum. One person indicated that
a possible use would be to run Linux/Intel under z/VOS in order to run a
proprietary x86-only Linux application, or perhaps some FOSS application
which had not been ported to z/Linux. I regard this as more likely than
running Windows (desktop or server).
