to: comp.lang.pl1, comp.lang.cobol, and IBM-MAIN I don't know how many SHARE members who have mixed COBOL and PL/I applications participate in and/or watch each of these groups, but if you fit into this category, you may want to check out a new SHARE (LNGC project) requirement that would (according to some) make maintenance easier by providing a "common" method of defining the MAIN program in mixed COBOL and PL/I load modules.
If you are a SHARE member and are already registered to participate in the LNGC project, just look at the requirements "Open for Voting". If you are a SHARE member and not currently registered for participating in the LNGC project, then follow the directions under the "Member" tab of the main SHARE website. Let me know (Off-Line) if you have any problems with doing this. -- Bill Klein wmklein <at> ix.netcom.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
