There are primary volume(s) I would like to remove from DFHSM as they are small volumes. We are at z/Os 1.9.
I have nine volumes defined in the ADDVOL section as primary volumes. I would like to 'phase out' three of them. Without losing and data, what is the best method to get DFHSM to move files off and not use them any longer? I have looked at the DELVOL and FREEVOL commands, but I still have data on the volumes and am not a DFHSM expert.
