Run Driver, log on to TSO start working - now you have z/OS which can be a driver. 5. Run normal ServerPac procedure. >> This is a good exercise for Cold Site planning as well. 1)From SE use stand-alone IOCP to import text and make IOCDS that defines basic system of tapes, dasd and consoles to run the driver system. 2)Have to configure the DASD subsystem to make them available for INIT. Similarly for tape, get the CHIPids, devices, and features lined up to match. Initially can use HMC for console but for external need to be configured and IML'd to READY. 3)Now can IPL ICKDSF tape and make DASD MVS aware. 4)IIRC driver can be ADRDSSF or FDR format depending on order options.
