Mike

Its at the back of my mind, since I have done this during the Y2K days.

We used Revolve on windows, by downloading all the programs, with its
copybooks and other components. After creating a Project, I think there
is a dropdown at the top where it said 'Flow' (Not sure of the exact
word in the dropdown)

There is one more tool called 'Relativity'. I have not used this tool
but I have heard that its very good.

Thanks & Best Regards.

Subject: Dataflow analysis tools?

Hi all. Is there anyone who knows of a graphical tool that displays a
dataflow
trace in an IBM environment. For example, one that would show a job
writing
to some files, which in turn are read by other jobs, which in turn write
to
other files, etc.? Seems like this would be a good thing to have for
creating a
test plan (e.g. if I'm making a change to programs used by a job, I'd
like to
see what other jobs and programs are affected by these changes).

Does Rational or WebSphere do this? Or any other products out there?

Thanks
Mike
