Hello readers
we are a small shop with 3 LPARs in basic Sysplex, with sub-capacity zNALC
charge scheme.
Netview is used as message automation and primitive job scheduler (CHRON
function) and
runs on all three LPARs.
I was thinking about running only one Netview on a cheaper LPAR in order to
reduce monthly
costs, but I don't know whether Netview in a single LPAR would still be able to
catch and
automatemessages from the other LPAR in the plex.
Anyone on this list which has already tried it or even runs such configurations
?
