As DanD indicated, there are free programs that allow you to mount the ISO file as a drive, and then just read it directly. Microsoft provides a VCDControlTool http://download.microsoft.com/download/7/b/6/7b6abd84- 7841-4978-96f5-bd58df02efa2/winxpvirtualcdcontrolpanel_21.exe which can access the ISO file as a drive. I don't think this software works on Vista, However, http://www.elby.cf also has a free clone drive program (They also sell a virtual DVD program), and this does work on Vista.
