I know this may sound trite, but the IBM REXX manuals are VERY good. I learned a lot just from reading these cover to cover (albeit, a few times). Very understandable and easy to follow. There are many areas within IBM where criticism of the doc may be warranted, but REXX is not one of them.

In addition to all the other good resources mentioned, I have the slides (word doc) from an "Introduction to TSO/E REXX" class I gave to a few of my past clients available in the JOBs/DOC section of my web site. If you already know CLIST, there is a chart at the end that helps translate CLIST to REXX statements. It was a fast look... I usually went through the material in about 4 hours. http://home.flash.net/~mzelden/mvsutil.html -- Mark Zelden Sr. Software and Systems Architect - z/OS Team Lead Zurich North America / Farmers Insurance Group - ZFUS G-ITO mailto:[email protected] z/OS Systems Programming expert at http://expertanswercenter.techtarget.com/ Mark's MVS Utilities: http://home.flash.net/~mzelden/mvsutil.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
