Yes, it is indeed very risky to do that funnies. But in that times, we were 
very 
small (us and customers), functioned only on office hours and we could IPL 
with 5 minutes notices and do system changes during office hours without any 
documentations at all! There were no such thing like DRP! <gasp!>

Now today, even changes on a sandbox need a proper formal change control. 
We are now big, serve big customers countrywide and our machines must be 
available 24 hours, all days of the year plus confirmed regular DRP testings.

So, funny things like this are a thing of the past.

PS: I did not get into any trouble. ;-D
