Having to salvage packs and DSNs, I've resorted to good-old IEHPROGM several times to UNCAT and/or SCRATCH troublesome DSNs (especially with the BYPASSNQ pgm). I would image PDS would do it too but several shops I go to don't have it and the less syntax I have to remember, the better.
