On a similar theme, our Auditors are querying some of the names in our AUTH list (people who have left the organisation). However, we get the same error as below when we try to remove names (AUTH name REVOKE).
I understand that the table is no longer used; it seems to be that once the FACILITY class is in use, DFHSM will no longer even maintain the table. Is this right? Can old IDs not be removed? I found something on the IBM website: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=isg3T1010446 Which implies people may wish to keep the AUTH entries in the DFHSM PARMLIB in the event of the unavailability of the Facility Class, but presumably that is pretty much limited to making sure the right names are in there, not keeping the table 'current'?
