You neglected to assert the major premise of your syllogism, with
which I believe I disagree:
Any language processor which generates HLASM code can
run anywhere HLASM runs (everywhere).
Going further, any language that produces a SYSLIN file that
can be disassembled to HLASM code can run anywhere HLASM
runs (everywhere).
The devil is in the caveats. Or in the non sequitur.
