And...YES, IBM did market an ISPF editor for the PC: "EZ-VU Editor", dated 1985, LY25-0040-0 (Program Diskette, 5.25"), Tutorial Diskette (LY25-0041-0), product number 6466974 "EZ-VU II Runtime Facility", Version 2.0, 1984, 1986, product no. 6476162, LY25-0042 (5.25 diskette), and LY25-0059 (3.5 diskette) The front of the box reads "Provides a full screen editor derived from the ISPF/PDF full screen editor available on IBM host systems." For DOS 2.0 or higher. It originated from the IBM Cary Labs in North Carolina. I have both products in the original plastic cases along with the doc. I can read the 5.25 diskettes on my old PS/2 Mod 60 with a Microsolutions Backpack Parallel Port 5.25 diskette reader. It still boots and runs IBM PC/DOS 7.01. Time to copy to CD.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
