It wasn't so well documented 25+ years ago.
Applprogs, just like sysprogs, make use of the most common command on a
computer, COPY. RTFM is generally a last resort.
We wrote affront end for DSS that checked the catalog, recalled what was
needed, then XCTLd to DSS.
