I know what you mean. I see Microsoft ads on Linux web sites. Very weird. A few 
years ago, we looked at this, pitched by a hardware company and software 
company (not to be named). We in Tech Services found it pathetically easy to 
shoot down. Mainly by just asking questions that started with "What about this 
situation: ... ?" The usual reponse was "Gee, nobody asked that. How do you do 
that on the current system? <insert answer from us> Oh, well we cannot do that."
