Sam, I do not believe that r12 of CA Common Services is GA at this time, but will be later this year. I did verify that they are changing the way that modules are dynamically added to LPA to use the supported interface. One advantage we have is that since most CA products use CA Common Services for such things; once they have been upgraded we all get the benefit.

I agreed to a FIN closure as changes were already included to use supported interfaces in CA-Common Services r12 which is recently generally available. I have not installed r12 just yet still running r11 SP8 so I cannot verify that it has been fixed. A number of other ISV's also have issues which so far they have not committed to fix and are still using the unsupported techniques that were available before OS/390 R4. We need to keep prodding them:-) Best Regards, Sam Knutson, GEICO System z Performance and Availability Management mailto:[email protected] (office) 301.986.3574 (cell) 301.996.1318 "Think big, act bold, start simple, grow fast..." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
