FYI Going from 1.7 to 1.9 found that we were getting MSGIEC710I for old PS DASD DSNs. The message indicates that "the last volume indicator is not on for this single volume data set". All of the 'problem' DSNs were one block DSNs and that was a short block. Solution was to "Opening the data sets for edit and then closing them would cause the DS1IND80 bit to be set properly".
