Sysplex, monoplex, same/different CEC? What kind of storage controller, what kind of disk? Your drawing looks like the basics for a 3990 mod 6, is it? How do you have your paths defined? What about the access list? Are you just trying to get around building another IODF? I don't think that HDC will let you do this, but you could always copy your IODF to a WORK IODF and try it out.
