We use Bluezone and XTRA and they seem to work ok. I like Bluezone better
because it came with an SSL FTP client.

Subject: replacment for pcomm

That truly isn't what is needed, but I couldn't think of a better subject

,so here goes the explanation and question.

We are moving to a secure port and we have many user logining into our cics.
We use pcomm and I have been able to import the cert(self signed) and got
logged into cics on the secure port.

The problem is we have users not using pcomm but other products. These have
worked fine unsecured but now they need to change to a secure product. The
one user is using jolly giant software qws3270, they also make a secure
version of the product. I have been able to get the cert loaded and logoned
on to cics using jgs 3270 secure) but they have not. We both are using win
xp but the problem seems to arise with ie7/8 and firefox, I am using ie6. I
called jgs and they said they have no problem with ie7..well I am. The user
has also tried quick3270 secure and they get a partial screen of data then
cics begins to take errors and everything comes to a screeching halt.. So my
question is what are you using to securely logon to your cics remotely??

thanks

Larry
