John, It will depend on blksize. If the dataset has a blksize of 80, you'll get 78 blks/trk for a total of 78*80 bytes per track.
If the blksize is 27920 you'll get 2 blks per track for a total of 27920*2 bytes per trk. And a whole range in between.
