I assume you are referring to MAXSPACE. I don't know of any setting that
documents how to "increase the size of DUMPSRV dataspaces" (although
that must be how the virtual storage maximum set via MAXSPACE is
implemented today). Sorry to nit-pick, your advise may confuse some
people who don't have your knowledge of internals.
We've been running with MAXSPACE over 6GB for many years due to
"large" DB2 subsystems and WebSphere.
