Use an OSA in ICC mode. In that mode, the OSA (which would be ethernet connected to your LAN) acts as a TN3270 server. On the z/OS side, it looks like a small local 3174. This does require genning the OSA as an ICC in your IODF / IOCDS. It also requires configuring the OSA from the HMC once it is in ICC mode. Or get a Visara or 2074 or FlexCUB (from funsoft.com) which are ESCON(?) attached and look like a 3174 to the host, but implement a TN3270 server in them.
