I can envision a scenario where IBM changes the internals of how
zAAP/zIIP dispatch eligibility works. (Using OCO control blocks might be
a good start! :-X ) Then hackers will try to figure it out all over
again, especially if anyone that actually paid real $$ for their hack
starts complaining. If they succeed, everyone goes back to "square one"
and the process starts over.
Someone quoted in the article calls this a "technology equivalent of a
game of whack-a-mole". :-D
