Does the CICS MQ Bridge perform all the functions of the CKTI trigger monitor transaction under the covers of CKBR, the CICS MQ Bridge transaction, or is it necessary to still code MQI commands as in the old 3270 Bridge.
Reading the MQ Concepts and Planning Guide it would appear the CKTI trigger monitor functions are now all handled implicitly under the covers of CKBR. I am just wondering if anyone has done this or can confirm this assumption. Does this post belong on the CICS or MQ equivalent of IBM-MAIN? If so, does anyone know the link for that?
