To each his own, but I can't begin to tell you how much I hate Canonical's method of naming releases. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is much more meaningful (to me, anyway) than Precise Pangolin. I have a hard time even remembering that the release I'm running is known as Precise Pangolin.
