Same as in non SMS. 

ALTER gdg-base LIMIT(n)

Where "n" is a number from 1 to 255 and is independant of the current value. If 
it is less than the current, all entries which are below the "fall off" point 
are rolled off. What happens to the actual data depends on SCRATCH / NOSCRATCH 
and whether it is disk or tape.
