HTH, <snip> You might want to look at Guarantee space in the SMS definitions. And as others have pointed out - SORTWKxx cannot use more than one volume. So I am not sure that extended will help unless it is all on one volume. So from a basic SAM perspective - 15 xtents on the secondary space allocation is probably all it will take. So how to handle the issue 1) Change your sort parms for Dynamic allocation to be 32 or some number of choosing.
