You will not be able to get rid of the SUPBY entries in the target zone. As things stand, you will continue to receive Debug Tool T 1.11 ptfs, but they will not apply due to no applicable FMID.
To correct this, edit the FMIDSET entry in the GLOBAL zone and the GLOBAL ZONE entry FMID list and remove the FMID to remove the Debug Tool FMID entry for z/OS 1.11. HTH, <snip>The following scenario: z/OS 1.13, installed from ServerPac, the ServerPac consist of z/OS and some products, inlcuding Debug Tool v11.1 (and File Manage and Fault Analyzer as well). In the meantime new version of the product was "GA'd" - v12.1 I ordered CBPDO with product v12.1, received, APPLIED, ACCEPTed. In the Target zone I see new FMIDs APP and old FMIDs SUPBY new_fmid. That's OK. However in the GLOBAL zone, under PRODUCT list I see both version of the product: new one and old one. I think it is not true information, because I superseded old version in the Target and DLIB zone (there are no more zones containing the product), so actually old product is no longer present in the system. Any comments on the above? Am I wrong? Another question: How can I get rid of the old product from CSI? I would like to no longer see Debug Tool v 11.1. </snip> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
