Does anyone know what DASDM Failure reason / error code 044E0097 mean. Iam
stuggling between system messages vol 1, DFSMS Advanced copy services and DFP
Advanced services manuals and can not find the answer..
I have QUIESCED ( and also tried with QUINEW) one SMS storage group volume and
trying to allocate a dataset on this volume with batch (JCL) and getting:
IGD17279I 48 VOLUMES WERE REJECTED BECAUSE OF INSUFF TOTAL SPACE
IGD17279I 1 VOLUMES WERE REJECTED BECAUSE OF A DADSM FAILURE (044E0097)
and volume status is
D SMS,VOL(HDS197)
IGD002I 10:45:04 DISPLAY SMS 788
VOLUME UNIT SYSTEM= 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 STORGRP NAME
SMS25B 825B Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q ARCHLOG1
