If you have an automation tool (OPS/MVS, Tivoli, SA390, etc...) then you could trigger the dump with the automation product. I think there maybe something on the CBTTAPE.ORG called TSSO or similar.
I have not looked at the use of MSGID but there might also be some testing in the SLIP code. I am not sure.
