Subject: IPCS VERBX questions.

Good Morning.

I've been working on a VERBX routine and have run into a few oddities.

1) While processing the storage for a started task I initially use the "Select
ASID Service" routine and provide an ASIDLIST with just the task's ASID.
If I am processing a DUMP everything works perfectly. If I am processing
'ACTIVE' I get the following message:
"BLS17546I ASIDLIST is not valid with ACTIVE storage".
I have not found a flag in the ABDPL or ADPLEXTN that indicates that
'ACTIVE' is being processed.
Does anyone know how to recognize that the routine is processing 'ACTIVE'?

2) I have a few DataSpaces that are too large to have the symbol service
routine return the data into a conventional 31 bit buffer (XSSPBUF). Does
anyone know if it is possible for the symbol storage access routine (indicated
by XSSPACC) return the dump data into a dataspace?

Thanks for any assistance.
DanD
