APPLY gives me:
GIM37904E ** APPLY PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD xxxxxxx BECAUSE OF AN ERROR
DURING A PREVIOUS ATTEMPT TO RESTORE xxxxxxx.
RESTORE gives me:
GIM24504E ** RESTORE PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD xxxxxxx BECAUSE xxxxxxx
HAS NOT BEEN APPLIED.
Can't go forwards; can't go backwards. Is there a way out of this? Well, sure;
it's my test CSI. I can wipe it out and reinstall.
The original failure was a utility (IEWL) error during APPLY, somewhat
intentional
error injection; APPLY CHECK would not have reported it. If I were more
cautious
I might have done RESTORE CHECK. (Does everyone do RESTORE CHECK?)
Whatever. I'm not very happy with the bind SMP/E has left me in. At the
GIM24504E
point it ought to have left things alone, not made them worse.
